Cairo to Karachi flight by converted Handley Page bomber 0/400 C9700, Indo-European Department OHMS envelope (270x120mm., opened-out) to Karachi, signed "F Hughes Jask Sb Dn" and showing a fair to fine strike of the exceptionally rare "Brought by First Aerial/Mail cairo to karachi/10th- December 1918" cachet with "passed censor/2/karachi" handstamp, both in violet, indistinct Karachi c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope torn through at centre and repaired on reverse with tape, nevertheless a remarkable item probably placed on the plane at Chahbar.
