Stamps of Pakistan were used from 29 December 1947 until 31 March 1948. Prior to the sale of the Nasik overprints a very small number of Indian stamps were handstamped "PAKISTAN" and they were on sale for only nine days though valid until 31 March 1948
1948 (27 Mar.) envelope to Bombay, bearing Nasik ½a. and 1a. pair sharing C36a "machine" style datestamp, arrival c.d.s. (8.4) on reverse; clean and most attractive. Photo
