Smye airmail envelopes registered to England, the first (12 July) marked "basra-cairo urgent" and bearing eight values totalling 13a. neatly cancelled by double-ring datestamp and, on reverse, plain registration label handstamped "muscat/dt. arabia" (noted as previously unrecorded by Donaldson) tied by Basra c.d.s. (24.7), the second (27 Nov.) bearing 1a. and 4a. with indistinct double-ring datestamps and with handstamped registration label at foot
