1855 (Jan.) entire letter from Calcutta "Via Bombay" to Bushire, bearing fine 1854 1a. Die I cancelled "B/1" with Bombay Ship Letter datestamp on face, and 1857 (July) entire letter ex the same correspondence from Batavia via Bombay to Bushire, carried privately to Bombay and bearing 1854 1a. Die II in combination with 1856 ½a. (torn away and replaced) both cancelled "1" and showing Bombay c.d.s. at left, both stamps heavily creased though a most unusual franking
