AAMC #1141, June 21, 1931 Round the World Flight by Post and Gatty, U.S. 2c Washington tied by wavy Mineola, New York c.d.s. dating June 21, 1931, cover carried in the "Winne Mae" with double strike of Berlin June 24 c.d.s., Moscow June 29 cachet in purple with an additional purple strike to right, Mineola July 1 wavy arrival c.d.s. at bottom, cover signed Wiley Post and Harold Gatty, cachet strike and overall condition is very fine; the route of this trip was New York via Harbour Grace (Newfoundland), Chester (England), Hanover and Berlin (Germany), Moscow, Nova Sibirsk, Irkutsk, Blagovestchensk and Khabarovsk (Russia), Nome (Alaska), Edmonton (Canada) and then back to New York.
