Note: The presentation die proofs were given to the six members of the Committee appointed to adjudicate on the stamp design, as well as to the Director-General of Civil Aviation, the Postmaster-General, the Secretary of the Post Office , the Note Printing Branch artist and the wife of a Post Office official who served on the Design Committee, making a total of 11 proofs. One of these is in the R.T.P. Chapman collection, now part of the Australia Post archival collection.
