"Letra de Cambio", 1864 20r., 200r., 300r. and 1,000r., in rose for continental mainland, in blue for Azores and madeira and green for overseas colonies; imperforate on porcelain paper without gum, fine and believed to be unique. Note: Revenue stamps were introduced in Portugal in November 1862. The engravings were made in London, by Thomas de la Rue and printed at the mint in Lisbon.
