1d. rose (5) in combination with 1867-70 4d. lake-red on pale rose paper, all cancelled by Tortola c.d.s. on 1889 (4 Dec.) envelope registered to Germany, showing "R" in oval and a further strike of the despatch c.d.s. with arrival datestamp on reverse; the envelope with stain at top though a scarce mixed-issue franking.
