1861 (23 June) entire to Paris, bearing 1859 pin-perf 13½-14 4d. brownish lilac pair with perforations on three sides, clearly tied by "1" obliterator and showing red crayon "7", Crowned circle "paid/at/trinidad" overstruck by oval-framed "pd", London Paid transit c.d.s. (13.7), Calais entry d.s. and, on reverse, despatch and arrival datestamps. A neat, attractive and rare franking. S.G. 40a. Photo
