(12.6) at foot; 1894 Opobo Provisional "1" (12mm.) on left half of 2d. grey-green and carmine tied to small piece by 1894 (31 Oct.) c.d.s., fine; 1895 (17 Apr.) envelope registered to Liverpool, uprated with 1894 ½d. vermilion, 2d. green tied by "brass" squared-circle in purple, also Brass River c.d.s. and Liverpool registered (26.5) oval d.s.; stamp with some aging; 1901 (13 July) front to England and re-addressed to Akassa, bearing 1897-98 ½d. green, 2½d. slate-blue tied by Brass registered oval h.s.
