Volta at Akassa: Niger River" to England, bearing 1892-94 2½d. purple on blue neatly cancelled with a largely fine strike of the "oil rivers protectorate/brass" triple-oval d.s. (Sacher Type 7, S.G. Type Z1), Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (22.9) at foot, Derby arrival c.d.s. (22.9) on reverse; the envelope with repaired tear at top and a little soiled though very rare. Photo
