1874 (17 Feb.) four page letter from Rev. Robert Moffat (1795-1883, Scottish Congregationalist missionary to Africa and father-in-law of David Livingstone), written from London to "Mr. Hislop", contents include comment on his son returning to the "Bechuanas" and his wish to follow him shortly. Also 1915-60 selection of 11 covers, including 1915 to Sweden franked at 2½d., and censored, 1934 Royal Tour (2), 1935 Silver Jubilee first day cover, aerogrammes, etc.
