1906 (3 July) envelope registered from Assouan, Egypt and redirected back to Beyrout, bearing 1906 (2 July) "1 Piastre" on 2d. grey-green and carmine horizontal pair neatly cancelled by central oval registered datestamp, showing "r"/fee paid" handstamp at lower left, "aswan" c.d.s.
