1864 (31 Oct.) envelope (small part flap missing) to Lake Wakatipu, bearing 1864-67 2d. pale blue Plate I worn cancelled by partially legible "goldfield/marlborough" c.d.s. with arrival c.d.s. (11.11) alongside, the reverse with a further more readable example of the Goldfield datestamp together with Havelock (31.10), Picton (1.11) and part Dunedin c.d.s.; a scarce cover from one goldfield to another and the only example recorded.
