1868 (15 May) large part envelope (one flap missing) from Otakia "via Marseilles" to Scotland, bearing 1864-67 2d. deep blue Plate II (2) and part 6d. red-brown all cancelled "027" and showing, on reverse, manuscript "Otakia 15/5/68" and Dunedin (15.5) c.d.s.

Note: Otakia was the official stopping and accommodation place for he gold coach and escort returning from the goldfields in the Tuapeka Valley
