1861 (11 Dec.) envelope (213x94mm.) from Dunedin "Per Aldinga" to Melbourne, bearing 1857-63 6d. brown (large margins on two sides) very lightly cancelled "18" and most unusually cancelled "10/12/61 Owen O'Callaghan Russell Street Barracks Melbourne" in manuscript by the recipient, despatch and arrival (17.12) c.d.s. on reverse; some faults though a most unusual item.
