IF, IG (just joined at top) and JE-JF pair, in a deep shade, good to very large margins all round, tied by light strikes of a light, watery red Maltese Cross to part cover, dated 29 May 1840, the reverse with Glasgow despatch and Edinburgh c.d.s. The piece with folding creases but the adhesives are fine. An unusual May date cover. Photo
