1842 large entire addressed to "The Duke of Wellington Commander in chief of Her Majestys Land Forces, Horse Guards London", with a fine strike in blue of the Newry "4" on front and matching d.s.(5.9) on reverse, with Dublin (6.9) diamond transit and Crowned circle arrival (across flap); filing folds, fine. The entire shows continued used of the Uniform Penny Post "4" handstamp of Newry as a postage due marking. A significant letter of Exhibition importance. Photo
