Oil Rivers", bearing uncancelled 1892 2½d., carried privately to England where it was put in the post with an 1881 1d. lilac affixed over the 2½d. and tied by Newton Heath "748" duplex and showing, on reverse, arrival datestamp (28.6); the envelope a little soiled.
