The superb collection of single-ring d.s. on 1892 issue, on loose adhesives/pieces, most neatly mounted and written-up, comprising single-ring d.s. for Bakana (3), Benin River (22 items, seventeen in red including 2d. block of six on 1894 front registered to Lagos), Bonny River (24 items including 2½d. block of six, and 2½d. on cover to Liverpool with addressee's name excised), Brass River (9 items, one in red), Buguma (20 items), Forcados River (5 items), Old Calabar River (20 items), Old Calabar (10 items including 1d., 2½d. and 5d. blocks of four, three in violet and three ½d and 1/- on cover to England with name and address excised), Opobo River (15 items, one in violet and one in brown and including 2d. and 2½d. blocks of four, and a 1/- on cover with another stamp removed), Qua Iboe River (1 item) and Sombreiro River (11 items), mostly fine or superb strikes.
