1874-1900 mainly used selection (192) on stockpages, including ½d. Newspaper in two mint strips with "new zealand" watermark, First sideface 6d. (2) and 1/- with irregular compound perf. (one side perf. 10, the others 12½), scarce pair of the 2d. Large Star watermark used, Second Sideface with double perfs., many 1d. with "Chisel" and "Ellipse" flaws in different perfs., 2d. substituted cliché, positional and transient flaws, etc., mixed condition
