1p. on 1d. to 2c.40 on £1 mint study of the surcharge with blocks of four or larger, among the better items noted are 1p. on 1d. complete sheet with a partial second overprint affecting five stamps, three sheets showing varying degrees of misplacement and two singles with surcharge inverted, 2p. on 2d. (4) with red and orange surcharges, one with surcharge inverted and one with surcharge double, 3p. on 3d. with surcharge inverted, 4p. on 4d. top left corner block of four with misplaced surcharge resulting in the upper pair without surcharge and the lower left with surcharge double, and three singles, two with surcharge inverted (one used) and the other with surcharge double, 6p. on 6d. top right corner vertical pair, marginal vertical pair and a marginal horizontal pair all with major misplacement of surcharge, a marginal horizontal pair and a vertical pair, both showing one with surcharge omitted, two vertical pairs and a single showing surcharge double, one vertical, blocks of four (2) and a single with surcharge inverted, a horizontal pair, one with surcharge double and a single with surcharge double, 11p. on 11d. marginal horizontal strip of four, the third stamp with surcharge omitted and a plate number pair and single with surcharge inverted, 12p. on 1/- top right corner block of four and a marginal horizontal strip of three, one in each with surcharge omitted, a top right corner vertical pair, the upper stamp with surcharge double and a block of four and singles (2) with black surcharge and a pair and single with black surcharge inverted.
