1868 (12 June) blue envelope with OHMS imprint at top (deleted) from Nuwara-Eliya to London, bearing 6d. black-brown (a couple of perf. faults) cancelled with pen stroke and oval of bars, showing despatch and arrival (21.7) Paid c.d.s. in red on face, the reverse (small faults on opening) with Galle Paid c.d.s. Also 1912 postcard written at sea near Ceylon, to France, twice redirected and showing Colombo Paquebot c.d.s. and Thomas Cook Marseilles oval datestamp
