1835 (25 Jan.) entire letter to London written by J. Carter and H. Miles on their arrival in San Geronimo to work for Henry Bennett, no postal markings. The contents relate details of their 99 day journey from London and a new life among "an uncivilised people whose Sabbaths are spent in revelling in feasts, fairs and Bull fights and who are not scrupulous at a slight provocation to stab or murder their fellow man". It asks that responses be sent care of Marshall Bennett in Belize
