1882 (1 Feb.) envelope to Georgetown, bearing 1c. magenta, 2nd setting, 5th printing, horizontal pair, [11-12], clearly tied by "philadelphia/b.guiana" double-ring d.s. (Type D3) and showing another strike alongside with arrival datestamp on reverse; the pair with some staining and perforation faults, the envelope with central spike hole and very minor peripheral staining. The earliest recorded date of this cancellation and the only example known on cover. Photo
