Official stamp "2" (Type 23) on 12c. pale violet in combination with 1876 4c. blue, both tied by "registration branch g.p.o." double-ring d.s., showing part strike of scarce framed "british/guiana/registered" h.s. in red and, on reverse, large "georgetown/registered" red wax seal and arrival datestamp.
