1860 (7 July) entire (no side flaps) to Edinburgh, bearing perf 12 12c. lilac neatly tied by "A03" obliterator, showing red crayon "6" and London Paid transit c.d.s.(28.7) with arrival datestamp on reverse. A most important British Guiana franked cover, being the earliest 1860 issue known on cover and the first possible use of the Colony's first adhesive stamp for pre-paying overseas postage. R.P.S.
