1865 (20 Jan.) envelope from New Amsterdam to Paris, showing manuscript "1/3" with red crayon "2" and "1/2", bearing perf 12½-13 4c blue and 12c. brownish purple vertical pairs, all cancelled by "A04" obliterator, showing oval-framed "pd", London (13.2) and Calais transit d.s. with, on reverse, despatch and Georgetown c.d.s.; the envelope with some pinholes towards left.
