1874 (18 May) envelope (opened-out) from Georgetown to Berbice, marked "Insp of Schls", bearing perf 10 2c. orange cancelled (not tied) by "A03" obliterator and showing, on reverse, Demerara, rare "b. g./b. i. r." c.d.s. (Sisters; Type D1 - over seven months earlier than recorded) and Berbice datestamps; the envelope with parts of reverse cut away. A fine example of the reduced internal rate effective from 1 July 1872. Photo
