1900 (23 June) unaddressed "in dienst." envelope with embossed Coat of Arms seal in green on flap, bearing ½d. to 6d. all neatly cancelled by squared-circle datestamps and with a further strike applied at centre; the envelope with three vertical creases (one splitting the cover at centre), none affecting the adhesives. The earliest recorded cover with stamps from this issue. S.G. 1-6, £1,340+. Photo
