1853 (Nov.) mourning envelope from Sofala to Birmingham, bearing 1852-53 3d. with four margins and 8d. with large margins on two sides, both cancelled by unclear "104" barred numeral, showing manuscript "2/3" and framed "insufficiently/stamped" h.s. at left and, on reverse, despatch, "newspaper/new s. wales", London and arrival datestamps.
