1899 (21 Nov.) OHMS Avis de Reception envelope (225x95mm.) registered from the Post Office to England, bearing 1884-86 ½d. dull green (13) and 1d. rose-carmine blocks of four (2, both on reverse) all cancelled with oval of bars, showing boxed "a.r" followed by "41", both in red crayon, and "R" in oval on face, despatch and Hull arrival c.d.s. (17.12) on reverse; the ½d values apparently applied with local gum and with some faults/defects, nevertheless an unusual 2oz. franking comprising 10d. postage, 2d. registration and 2½d.
