1898 (1 Apr.) envelope "per SS 'Accra' 1/4/98" to England, bearing 1887-1902 7½d. dull mauve and carmine and 10d. dull mauve and yellow cancelled with oval of bars and showing Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (1.5) at foot, the reverse with despatch c.d.s. (weak) and Manchester arrival c.d.s. (2.5); the envelope with some creasing, nevertheless an unusual franking. S.G. 36, 37
