1854 (9 Mar.) envelope to Bombay "per Str 'Norna'" bearing a neat strike of the "canton/paid" handstamp in red, bearing "4" and "1/-" rate marks in red ink, the reverse with Canton despatch, Hong Kong and Bombay (2.4) arrival c.d.s.; there is some light discolouration of the envelope, nevertheless a good example of this early postmark which is rarely found on envelopes.
