1880 (13 May) envelope addressed to a Polish Count, c/o the German Consulate in Constantinople, bearing 1880 10c. on 12c. pale blue tied by a fair strike of the "D.27" cancellation with a slightly uneven strike of the Amoy c.d.s. below, the reverse with Hong Kong (14.5), Suez (18.6) and Constantinople (27.6) c.d.s.; some minor wrinkling around edges barely detracts from this unusual and very important cover. This is the only cover recorded used from Amoy to Turkey. Photo
