1887 (9 June) entire letter from Shanghai to Amsterdam "per French Mail" bearing 10c. green tied by "B62" with Hong Kong despatch alongside and "ligne n/paq.fr." c.d.s. alongside, the reverse with Amsterdam arrival (13.7). The contents give accounts of Dutch camlets and Dutch jeans. A surprisingly rare destination from Hong Kong, we do not have a record of any other Q.V. mail to Holland. Photo
