1900-10, part of an exhibition collection including good examples of the scarce post Sino-Japanese war from military police on 1½s. stationery card and 3s. franked covers (2); a 1904 1½s. postcard sent in the civilian post at Incheon but bearing the "On Military Service" handstamp; 1904-05 Russo-Japanese War with examples from the 1st Army (4) from F.P.O. 6 and 8; a good group from the Korean Occupation Army with many of the different F.P.O's, one with error of the date slugs inverted (rare), postcard from Jeodo Island, money transfer receipts (2), some covers sent to other Army units including serving in Manchuria, 1½s. stationery card returned to sender, the earliest recorded example of F.P.O.7 at Immyong and others from this scarce office (7) and the scarce no.9 at Iweon which was only open for two weeks; covers from the Japanese Army Rear 2nd Division with different F.P.O's including the scarce no.2 at Kyeongseong, no.3 at Puko, no.4 at Yuseong (2), and no.5 at Yuseong; Occupation Army Eastern Sector with different F.P.O's including mail to Manchuria and Taiwan; the Regency General period including a commemorative cancellation of the visit of the British China squadron, a card from the military mapping department, covers to Musan and other offices in Korea; concluding with two covers from the Annexation period (2). A very good and interesting collection which is well written up and would make an ideal lot for the specialist or for further development. (68 covers). Photo
