1907 (18 Nov.) picture post card featuring Yuan Shih Kai, when he was Governor of Tientsin, surrounded by European and Chinese dignitaries; bearing C.I.P. 2c. (2) tied by Tientsin bilingual c.d.s., Boston machine cancellation with Tientsin I.J.P.O. and Kobe transit c.d.s. alongside. Addressed to U.S.A. and redirected internally, the card was sent by a member of the Imperial Medical College, the message indicates that the College was running smoothly after the change of leadership.
