1897 (7 Oct.) red band envelope to Vienna "via Brindisi" bearing, on the reverse, Large Figures, Wide Setting 10c. on 12ca. tied by a fine strike of Chinkiang Dollar chop and the arrival c.d.s. (10.11) with Shanghai Dollar chop in blue and French packet boat no.2 c.d.s.; sadly the French stamp has been cut from the front of the cover and there is some tone spotting, nevertheless a scarce and desirable franking.
