Southern Rhodesia, an obverse and reverse composite essay on board for an unadopted £10, ND (c.1940-50), dark blue on brightly multicoloured underprint, George VI at right, value at each corner and in underprint at centre, reverse with lion at centre, arms at top centre, value at left, top left and low right, also an additonal vignette of the lion
(not listed or known, no £10 ever issued for Southern Rhodesia), the lion similar to that used on Congo notes, a striking and attractive design for an unissued denomination, unique and lovely (3)
