                        Richard II (1377-99), Noble, 7.68g, London, type IIIc, French title resumed, m.m. cross pattée, king standing facing in ship holding sword and shield, slipped trefoil by shield, angl z f dns hib z aq, rev. floriate cross extending from a central panel containing a letter r crowned leopard in each angle (Schneider 176; Stewartby IIIc, p.254; N.1303; S.1657), rusty obverse die, some weakness on forecastles but mostly well-struck and plenty of freshness, nearly extremely fine and exactly 120 grains
