Elizabeth I (1558-1603), seventh issue 1601-2, Crown, 29.55g, m.m. 1, crowned bust left, wearing decorated dress and wide ruff, holding orb and sceptre, rev. shield over long cross fourchée (N.2012; S.2582), a good strong portrait, slight double striking in the upper half of the obverse legend, minor metal flaws but much less than usually seen on this issue, light grey tone, good very fine
