London, type IIIA, king standing facing in ship holding sword and shield, no marks, rev. floriated cross with lis at ends, R in centre, saltire stops, m.m. cross pattée on reverse only (N.1311; S.1667), lightly buckled, king's face somewhat weak, otherwise good very fine and with lustre, a very rare denomination for Richard II
