Anglo-Saxon, post-Crondall phase, c.655-75, Thrymsa, 1.25g, Two Emperors type, pearl diademed bust with right, cross before, blundered legend, rev. two seated facing figures being crowned by winged Victory with a pellet either side of head, single annulet below throne (SCBI 63 BM, no.27; Metcalf 79-80; Sutherland 1948, type II.v; N.20; S.767), light scratch to portrait behind nose, pretty much as struck with much lustre and just the lightest of wear to the reverse portraits, extremely fine and highly desirable this good
