963 Private Alfred Luker, born Chiswick, Middlesex; served during the Great War with the 1st Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers on the Western Front; killed in action, 9.9.1914, and is commemorated on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial, France.
