4473 Private Benjamin John Friday, born London; enlisted in the London Regiment, and served with the 4th Battalion (Royal Fusiliers) during the Great War; died of wounds on the Western Front, 5.5.1917, and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.

3118 Private Laryton Lovett William Bowerman Thompson, enlisted in the London Regiment, and served with the 4th Battalion (Royal Fusiliers) during the Great War; died of wounds at Gallipoli, 31.12.1915, and is buried in the Skew Bridge Cemetery, Turkey.
