4974 Private Patrick Diamond, born Maghera, Co. Londonderry, 1858; enlisted in the Rifle Brigade, July 1881; served with the 1st Battalion in Upper Burma, October 1886 to February 1889; discharged, August 1893, after 12 years and 37 days' service.
