Lieutenant-Colonel Henry Duncombe Bramwell, Commissioned Second Lieutenant, April 1891; promoted Lieutenant, October 1892; Captain, September 1896; served in the Northern Territories of the Gold Coast, 1897; appointed Adjutant, Portsmouth Yeomanry Brigade, November 1898; promoted Major, August 1902; served with the 15th Hussars during the Great War on the Western Front from 1914; promoted Lieutenant-Colonel, 10.10.1915; Mentioned in Despatches (London Gazette 20.5.1918); retired, 10.10.1919; died, 9.9.1921.
