#421, 50c Violet, single line watermark, pristine ""post office"" fresh mint example, featuring an incredible overall mint ""bloom"", sumptuously rich color and a well incised impression on bright crisp paper, outstanding centering amid huge margins which are most uncharacteristic of this high value, immaculate o.g., n.h., an extremely fine large-margined gem.[cr][lf][cr][lf]Very few Scott #421´s exist with such lavish margins, and fewer still exist never hinged as well. This stamp combines these two seldom seen attributes into a single gem that is one of the finest never hinged Fifty Cent 1914 Issues we have ever offered, as well as one of the finest in existence.[cr][lf][cr][lf]Accompanied by 1995 (for a block of four) and 2002 PF certificates, as well as a 2007 PSE certificate (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $4,300.00 as 95 and $13,100.00 as 98); the sole example to have been graded XF-Superb 95 Jumbo by the PSE, and the only example to have been given a jumbo designation in any Estimate US$ 5,500-6,500
