King Louis XIV
1650 (12 May) letter to the "gens du Comité du Royanme d'Escosse" in Scotland, signed "Louis", an early and young signature written when he was only twelve years of age. The letter with vertical cut to carry the royal seal (missing) with the manuscript endorsement "K of France"; some soiling at edges and along folds.
